Commonly Used Home Remedies for Warts or Skin Tags

Warts are caused by a certain kind of virus, while skin tags have no specific causes, and they are thought to be a result of skin rubbing against skin or clothes over the period of time.

Both skin tags and warts are nothing but benign growths of skin, but those who have it will often want to get rid of them, especially when they are on some visible parts of the body, like face, eyes, or neck, and also when they are rubbing against clothing or jewelry and causing pain.

In addition to that, sometimes warts can grow on feet and they can be quite painful while walking or running. For all these reasons, it’s common for people to look around for easy removal techniques.

Following are some commonly used techniques for skin tag or wart removal. For better results, you also use a wart removal product like wartrol cream.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple Cider Vinegar is often used in a number of skin related issues. It is being used for problems like moles, skin tags, or warts.

The method is simple, start from cleaning your skin with water and let it dry. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar to your skin tag or wart two or three times every day. Its acidic characteristics will do the job, and your skin tag or wart will start to dry down. After some time, it will fall off.

If Apple Cider Vinegar is causing irritation, you can add some water for diluting purpose. However, it’s a slow process, and it will take around two to three weeks. And just like other home remedies, it might not work at all on your skin tags or warts.

Garlic is also used in many skin related problems because of its anti bacterial attributes. Take some garlic cloves (the fresher the better), and crush them to make a paste. Put it on your skin tag or warts, and cover it with bandage. Do this twice a day. You can also slice the clove from the middle, and rub the inside area on affected skin, but crushed garlic with bandage will be more effective.

Oregano Oil:

Oregano oil has antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory characteristics. Add some coconut oil into oregano oil, and apply the mixture on your warts or skin tags three times a day. The skin tag will start to change color, and after some time it will fall off. Oregano oil is quite acidic, so it can be irritating, but adding coconut oil will take care of that.
